With the SEC Championship now in the books and the College Football Playoff landscape set, Alabama has a lot to prepare for. For three members of the Crimson Tide offense, they may need to prepare some speeches.
Alabama quarterback Mac Jones and wide receiver DeVonta Smith have top odds to win the Heisman trophy, the award for the best player in college football.
Jones and Smith entered this weekend with the top-two highest odds, but there’s been a shift. Smith is now the favorite on BetMGM.

His strong performance against Florida in the 2020 SEC Championship may have sealed the deal. He reeled in 15 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
Jones also played well, eclipsing 400 yards, 77% completion and five touchdowns with one interception. However, Smith could have just overtaken him.
Najee Harris did not have any odds listed last week, but after a five touchdown, 245-yard performance, he is now in the top five.
