Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray continues to add to his fantastic season. In the first quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15, he set an NFL record.
He entered the week having had eight games with a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown.
In the first quarter, he had an eight-yard touchdown run, his 11th of the season. Then, after the Cardinals blocked an Eagles punt, he threw a six-yard touchdown pass to running back Chase Edmonds. It was his 24th touchdown pass of the season.
It was his ninth game with at least one of each, which sets a new NFL mark.
Three players previously had eight such games in a season. Cam Newton was the last to do it in 2011, his rookie season.
Murray, with 24 touchdown passes and 11 rushing touchdowns, now has 35 total touchdowns on the season.
