Tennessee Titans’ Week 15 Player of the Game: Ryan Tannehill

Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill earns the title of Player of the Game in the win over Lions.

There is no room left to doubt Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill after he delivered one of the most impressive comeback seasons we’ve seen out of a signal-caller last year, and has continued to have success in 2020.

Tannehill impressed once again in the Titans’ 46-25 win over the visiting Detroit Lions in Week 15.

He was accurate and effective as a passer, per the usual, but he also used his legs to make plays and score touchdowns, with two carries finding pay dirt in the winning effort.

Overall, Tannehill finished 21-of-27 for 273 passing yards, while also adding three carries for 21 yards and five total touchdowns.

The five total touchdowns make Tannehill the first Titans quarterback to do it in a game since Billy Volek accomplished the feat 16 years ago against the Raiders.

What’s not to love about a quarterback like Tannehill who takes care of the football, has impeccable ball placement, can throw it deep and can give opposing defenses the blues with his mobility?

Here’s a look at some of his top plays.

The Titans currently sit atop the AFC South with just two games left on the regular season with a very respectable 10-4 overall record.

The Titans face the Green Bay Packers up next on the schedule at 7:20 p.m. CT on Sunday.
