The Kansas City Chiefs have announced several roster moves ahead of their Week 15 game against the New Orleans Saints.
The first piece of news is that the Chiefs have officially downgraded RT Mike Remmers to OUT on the final injury report. He originally was doubtful heading into the game, but his current designation tells us that Yasir Durant will likely get his first career start opposite Eric Fisher.
As Andy Reid suggested on Friday, the Chiefs have activated WR Byron Pringle from injured reserve. Pringle was designated to return from IR at the beginning of the practice week on Wednesday and put together a solid week of practice.
In addition to Pringle’s activation, the Chiefs have added three players from the practice squad.

Stefen Wisniewski, who was a standard elevation the past two weeks for Kansas City, has officially been signed to the 53-man roster according to the NFL’s official transaction report. However, two other players from the practice squad have been elevated this week as standard elevations.
The much-anticipated debut of ex-Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker will come this week. Baker has been on the Chiefs’ practice squad since mid-November. He has been spending that time learning the defensive scheme and working his way into game shape after not playing football in nearly a full calendar year.
In addition to Baker’s debut, one of the longest-tenured practice squad players in LB Emmanuel Smith will make his debut on the 53-man roster. Smith will likely see a role on special teams with injuries to Damien Wilson and Dorian O’Daniel.
Pringle and Wisniewski fill the two vacant spots on the 53-man roster for Kansas City. This is the first time in the past two weeks that they’ve had a full 53-man roster heading into a game.
