Win some, lose some as Brees won’t be throwing passes to the elite Michael Thomas, who went on injured reserve Saturday due to an ankle issue. Thomas will be lost for the remainder of the regular season.

Saints’ WR Michael Thomas is being placed on injured reserve due to the ankle injury that has lingered since Week One.
Saints now will be without Thomas for the rest of the regular season, but they expect him close to 100 percent for the start of the postseason.

Thomas caught 149 passes for 1,725 yards and 9 TDs in 2019. In 2020, the ankle injury has limited him to 40 grabs and 438 yards while playing in 7 games.
