Relive QB Justin Herbert’s phenomenal performance to propel Chargers past Raiders

Justin Herbert was lights out on Thursday night.

What more can you say about Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert?

Herbert has been on a tear since taking over as the team’s starter back in Week 2, and he continued his dominance on Thursday night in Los Angeles’ overtime win over the Raiders.

On a night when both wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams were out for the majority of the contest, Herbert still looked like a veteran, finishing with 314 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Along the way, Herbert tied tied Baker Mayfield’s rookie record for touchdown passes in a season with the 26-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Tyron Johnson right before the half.

For the second week in a row, Herbert guided the team to victory on the final drive. Herbert’s deep pass to WR Jalen Guyton was able to set up his rushing touchdown, snapping the Bolts’ divisional losing streak.
