Cam Akers gets most of the attention when it comes to Rams running backs who can also throw the ball, being a former high school quarterback. But Darrell Henderson has a strong arm of his own, too.
Though not touted for his throwing ability, Henderson can chuck it as deep as some quarterbacks. In a new video for Bleacher Report, Henderson showed off his arm on the practice field with Adam Lefkoe.
It was an attempt to get Henderson’s Throw Power rating up in “Madden,” as he tried to raise it from only 33. He accomplished what he set out to do, chucking four passes more than 60 yards down the field.
Two of them traveled 67 yards, and his longest throw was a whopping 69 yards.
.@DarrellH8 can throw it 69 yards 😮

After showing the video to a Madden ratings adjustor, Henderson’s Throw Power rating was bumped up from 33 to 55, which is fourth-best among all running backs.
That’s still not better than Akers’ rating of 56, however. With two running backs who can throw it deep, it’s only a matter of time before the Rams attempt a trick play with either Henderson or Akers.
