It was not supposed to be this way, but rather charging full speed into the Southeastern Conference Championship Game against the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Florida Gators limp their way to Atlanta after a stunning home loss to the LSU Tigers.
Speaking of tigers, ‘Bama is anything but a paper one having dominated its SEC-only schedule and sitting perched atop both polls unchallenged. The Gators are hoping to knock the Tide down a peg this weekend, but it will be quite an uphill battle for them.
BetMGM oddsmakers start the week with the Gators a 17-point underdog while the over/under is set at 74.5.
The game will kick off at 8 p.m. EST on Dec. 19 in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia. The game will be broadcast on CBS, can be live-streamed on the CBS Sports app and can be heard on the Gators Radio Network.
