Back in July, Cleveland’s Major League Baseball franchise announced it was reviewing its nickname — the Indians — in the wake of the now-Washington Football Team doing the same.
On Sunday, we learned from a New York Times report that the franchise will indeed drop its name, and although we may not know what the replacement for it will be for, perhaps, months or years, MLB fans from around the country and in Ohio came up with some ideas.
We listed a bunch of suggestions in July, but let’s take it a step further and rank them by how good they sound.
