QB Mitchell Trubisky connected with TE Jimmy Graham for a touchdown, which put the Bears up 14-0 in the second quarter.

The Chicago Bears offense has gotten off to a solid start in the first half against the Houston Texans.

After running back David Montgomery’s 80-yard touchdown run on the offense’s opening series, the Bears responded on their third possession with a 12-play, 79-yard scoring drive that ate up 6:46 on the clock.

Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky found tight end Jimmy Graham in the corner of the end zone for a touchdown, which put the Bears up 14-0 in the second quarter.

That was Graham’s sixth touchdown grab of the season, which exceeded his total touchdown in two seasons with the Green Bay Packers.

Trubisky has gotten off to a hot start for Chicago, where he’s completed 8-of-8 passes for 71 yards and one touchdown for a 143.2 passer rating.

The Bears lead the Texans 14-7 in the second quarter.
