Oklahoma will be the only school to have three starting quarterbacks in the NFL this week with Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray and Jalen Hurts.

Oklahoma loves to casually call itself “QBU” given their recent success at the quarterback position.

Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray won the Heisman Trophy in back-to-back seasons and then Jalen Hurts finished as the runner-up the year following, so that claim certainly has some water.

Further giving the Sooners more ammo to argue with, Oklahoma will be the only school to have three starting quarterbacks in the NFL on Sunday with Mayfield, Murray and Hurts all getting the nod.

Mayfield and Murray have been starters with their respective franchises for awhile now, but Hurts completes the trifecta after being named the starter for the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this week.

Lincoln Riley is surely deep in preparation for the Big 12 Championship Game on Saturday, but it is safe to say that he will be keeping a watchful eye on all three of his guys this weekend.

Murray and the Arizona Cardinals are currently playing on the road against the New York Giants, Hurts and the Eagles will play host to the New Orleans Saints later today at 3:25 p.m. CT and Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns will host the Baltimore Ravens tomorrow night on Monday Night Football.
