On the surface, the Week 14 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars looks like a gimme-type game for the Tennessee Titans, but when we look a bit deeper, this matchup is anything but.
While the Jags sport the second-worst record in the NFL at 1-11 and sit in the cellar of the AFC south, head coach Doug Marrone’s squad has been playing its opponents tough of late.
In their last two games, both of which were against potential playoff teams in the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings, the Jaguars have lost by a combined total of five points and one of those games went to overtime.
Every game down the stretch of the season is vital for the Titans, but this one has a little more significance because of Tennessee’s need to keep their divisional record better than the Indianapolis Colts.
Entering this game against the Jags, the Titans have three major causes for concern.
