A lot has changed since the Tennessee Titans’ (8-4) Week 2 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-11). The Jaguars were undefeated — a thrilling 1-0 after taking down the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. Now, the kittens are just… defeated.
Hold on a minute — not so fast.
Though they remain winless in eleven straight, the Jaguars have been sneakily competitive of late. Head coach, Doug Marrone, made a quarterback change in Week 9, benching Gardner Minshew for rookie Jake Luton, before eventually handing the keys over to veteran signal-caller, Mike Glennon.
With Glennon under center, the Jaguars have lost their past two games by a combined five points and are proving to be a tough out.
The Titans must be hypervigilant and poised on Sunday to take down their divisional foe. On paper, this game is a no-brainer notch in the win column for the Titans, but divisional games are never a guarantee, regardless of who owns the better record.
So, where will the Titans look to defend and to exploit? Let’s take a look at the key matchups to watch in Week 14.
