Caris LeVert joins Jordan Brand, will wear Air Jordan XXXV in 2020-21

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have their own impressive signature shoes, but Caris LeVert will rock a fresh set of kicks on 2020-21, too.

Caris LeVert has joined a new team, in a way — no, he’s not leaving Brooklyn. The Nets guard is joining the Nike subsidiary Jordan Brand, the company announced on Friday. With the announcement, Jumpan also revealed LeVert will rock the Air Jordan XXXV’s throughout the 2020-21 NBA season.

“It feels good,” LeVert said about joining the Jordan Family, per Jumpan’s announcement. “It still hasn’t fully sunk in yet. I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember. It’s crazy, I was just talking to a friend a month and a half ago, and he asked me if I’d ever sign with Jordan. A week later, I got the call. I’m looking forward to building with the brand.

“Not everyone gets to be a Jordan athlete, so that speaks to the type of people who are selected to be a part of this family. It started with MJ, who is the greatest player of all time. He set the standard for swagger and winning on the basketball court.”

LeVert also touched on Brooklyn’s aspirations in 2020-21 in the announcement:

“There’s a lot of excitement around our team right now,” he said. “The offseason was quick, but we’ve been grinding, and we’re ready.”
