[autotag]Tony Ferguson[/autotag]’s threat to not fight at UFC 256 did not need to be made reality, because [autotag]Charles Oliveira[/autotag] comfortably made weight for the lightweight co-headliner.
Earlier in fight week, Ferguson (25-4 MMA, 15-2 UFC) told Oliveira (29-8 MMA, 17-8 UFC) that he came in heavy – like he has for some past UFC fight – they would not be competing.
The Brazilian send a message on the scale, being the second fighter to to weight in on Friday and hitting 154.5 pounds. Ferguson followed shorty thereafter, making 155 pounds on the nose.
