The Cougars have not yet lost at home this season and their only loss was against an unbeaten Coastal Carolina team, and they were one yard from winning that game.
The Aztecs have only won once this season on the road. That said, a money line bet on BYU is worth very little. If you insist on a pick, take BYU, but with no value to this wager, AVOID and look to the spread to make your bet.
Against the spread (ATS)
San Diego State has covered the spread in six of nine games. BYU is 6-3-1 ATS. When they faced a better Mountain West team earlier this season in Boise State, BYU completely dismantled them 51-17.
San Diego State’s defense is good and will slow the Cougar offense some, but it has not faced an attack like it this season. BYU might not put up 50 in this game but they will dominate this game, as they have a top offense and a better statistical defense than the Aztecs.
