Rams inactives: Gay active, MacGinnis out vs. Patriots

Terrell Lewis is inactive with a knee injury.

The Los Angeles Rams are hosting the New England Patriots at SoFi Stadium tonight in an important Week 14 matchup for both teams. The Rams were given an injury scare on Wednesday when Matt Gay was limited in practice due to a shoulder injury, which caused him to be listed as questionable.

He’s active against the Patriots, however, and will be the Rams’ kicker. Austin MacGinnis is inactive and will not play.

The Rams elevated MacGinnis from the practice squad before kickoff on Thursday as a contingency plan, just in case Gay was unable to play.

Terrell Lewis is also inactive despite not having an injury designation coming into the game.

Cam Akers and Michael Brockers are both active as expected despite starting the week of practice limited by shoulder and neck injuries, respectively.
