Braden Smith, Kenny Moore make PFF’s Team of the Week

Colts get a pair of players on the PFF Team of the Week.

Indianapolis Colts right tackle Braden Smith and cornerback Kenny Moore II had strong games against the Houston Texans in Week 13, helping the team grab a 26-20 win at NRG Stadium.

Their performances on the road helped them earn a spot on Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week in Week 13 at their respective positions. They were both the highest-graded players on their side of the ball for the Colts in the game.

Smith has quietly had a strong season holding down the right side of the offensive line. He continues to make improvements in pass protection, and they showed against the Texans in Week 13. On 38 pass-blocking snaps, Smith didn’t allow a single pressure.

The Colts also got another strong outing from Moore, who came away with an interception and a few pass breakups. He allowed a 44.9 passer rating in coverage on Sunday while adding four defensive stops. He was targeted nine times, which is a bit odd given how well he’s playing this season.

The Colts have been getting big contributions from several players across the roster while Smith and Moore got some recognition for their performances in what was a big divisional win in Week 13.
