[autotag]Tony Ferguson[/autotag] isn’t interested in competing Saturday unless it’s on an even playing field.
Ferguson (25-4 MMA, 15-2 UFC), who faces [autotag]Charles Oliveira[/autotag] in the co-main event of UFC 256, will look to rebound after having his 12-fight winning streak snapped at the hands of Justin Gaethje this past May.
Although Oliveira (29-8 MMA, 17-8 UFC) never has missed weight at 155 pounds, he was heavy on numerous occasions at featherweight, which prompted his move up a weight class.
Since Oliveira has taken this fight on relatively short notice, Ferguson has an inkling that the Brazilian could miss weight. And if he’s too far off the mark, Ferguson says he won’t accept the fight under those cirucmstances.

In 29 pro fights, Ferguson has never missed weight. He even made the lightweight limit when his originally scheduled bout with Gaethje was canceled in April, cutting 24 pounds in just one week. He proceeded to make weight one more time just three weeks later when his fight with Gaethje was rebooked for May 9.
