The Rockets have yet to see James Harden through Monday. It’s hard to imagine things could get more comfortable for Houston as coach Stephen Silas and his players continue to field questions about the star.
Yet the Nets, who spoke with the Rockets in the early stages of this fiasco, haven’t tried to take advantage of the situation and the fact Harden wants to move to Brooklyn, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
“The Rockets and Nets have had no contact, no conversations, I’m told, since the beginning of this, weeks ago,” Woj said. “Those conversations didn’t anywhere.”
“The Rockets have made it clear to the rest of the league. If they’re going to trade James Harden, they want a monumental haul back for a player they consider one of the best three or four in all of the NBA: a great you player, multiple picks, perhaps pick swaps.”
Per @wojespn, the Rockets and Nets have had no conversations on a possible James Harden trade for weeks. Houston has made it clear to the league they want a "monumental haul" back for Harden. pic.twitter.com/MTwz0DpQjC
