At one point in the ongoing fiasco in Houston, the Rockets made clear they were willing to get uncomfortable with James Harden.
Well, it’s hard to imagine things could get much more uncomfortable than they are now.
Just one day after Rockets head coach Stephen Silas expressed Harden was going to report to Houston for an individual workout and new Rockets guard John Wall said he “had a great talk” with Harden — which led Wall to believe the star will stay in town — Silas provided a less than favorable update for Rockets fans.
Silas does not know if Harden is in Houston yet.
“There is no timetable, as far as I know. It is a setback,” he said, per Ben DuBose of USA Today SMG’s Rockets Wire. “You want your best player to be here.”
Q: Is James currently in Houston?
Silas: "I don't know."
