The Indianapolis Colts (8-4) came away with a huge win Sunday against the Houston Texans (4-8) at NRG Stadium, which now ties them for first place in the division.

After looking at the takeaways from the game, it’s time to check out the snap counts as we do every week.

Offense

Notes

  • RB Jonathan Taylor led the backfield this week playing 48% of the snaps while Nyheim Hines (36%) and Jordan Wilkins (19%) followed suit.
  • OT Chaz Green wound up playing 93% of the snaps at left tackle after Le’Raven Clark left in the first quarter with an ankle injury.
  • WRs Michael Pittman Jr. (84%) and Zach Pascal (80%) led the room in snaps while T.Y. Hilton exploded for a 8-110-1 line.

Defense & Special Teams

Notes

  • LBs Anthony Walker Jr. and Darius Leonard along with CB Kenny Moore and S Julian Blackmon played 100% of the defensive snaps.
  • For the second week in a row, CB Rock Ya-Sin’s snap count was below 50% on defense.
  • DE Kemoko Turay is still getting worked in as he played 14% of snaps on defense
