Tennessee Titans’ Week 13 Player of the Game: Corey Davis

I suppose the Titans deserve to be 8-4 with how they played, and coincidentally, the player of the game dons the No. 84.

Well, that wasn’t very pleasant; and at home, too.

The Tennessee Titans fell to 8-4 on the season at the hands of an outstanding Cleveland Browns team (9-3) that no one saw coming. The two-tone blue put up a valiant effort to make things interesting towards the end of the game but to no avail.

I suppose the Titans deserve to be 8-4 with how they played, and coincidentally, the Player of the Game dons the No. 84 — wide receiver, Corey Davis.

Davis has come on strong of late and stepped up big today while the rest of the team struggled. If not for Davis, the Titans would have had trouble moving the chains at all — fellow wideouts A.J. Brown and Adam Humphries combined for multiple drops on the day.

In all, CD84 finished Sunday’s contest with 11 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown. His catches and yardage output were both career-highs, and with 801 receiving yards this season, he’s just 90 shy of his career-high there.

The former Western Michigan Bronco is playing phenomenal football, and it bodes well for his future with Davis in the midst of a contract year.
