Cam Akers hasn’t been featured often in the Rams offense this season, but he’s making a case for more touches every week. On Sunday against the Cardinals, he scored his second rushing touchdown of the season, punching it in from 9 yards out.
He showed off his vision, speed and strength on one play, carrying Cardinals linebacker Haason Reddick into the end zone with him for six. Akers is known for his speed and explosiveness, but that’s some serious lower-body strength.
