Pittsburgh Steelers beat writer Gerry Dulac is reporting that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger practiced on Sunday and is expected to play on Monday versus the Washington Football Team.
Roethlisberger was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report on Saturday with a knee injury. This injury popped up seemingly out of nowhere so it was cause for concern.
But according to Dulac, all is well and Roethlisberger will be on the field Monday afternoon against Washington.
The Steelers currently sit at 11-0 and on top in the AFC. We had speculated the Steelers might want to rest Roethlisberger this week so he would be 100 percent against the Buffalo Bills but it sounds like his addition to the injury report might have been more gamesmanship than anything else.
