The Tennessee Titans host the Cleveland Browns in an epic matchup between two 8-3 teams that could have major playoff implications down the line. This is the last of a grueling four-game stretch for the Titans that saw them face opponents with a current combined record of 28-16 (Colts, Ravens, Colts, Browns).
Following Week 13, Tennessee will face two teams (Jaguars and Lions) with a combined record of 5-17 over the next few weeks and will have a legitimate chance to fatten up the win-column before playoff time.
But before they can worry about making that a reality, they must first deal with another playoff-caliber opponent from Cleveland that is more than capable of humbling them if not taken seriously.
These definitely are not the same pushover Browns of old, and it will take a 60-minute effort from all three phases if Tennessee is going to leave Nissan Stadium with a win on Sunday.
Titans star Derick Henry may be the best individual running back in the NFL, but the Browns have the best running back tandem in the entire league in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.
If you are into old school hard-nosed football, this is definitely the game for you.
With all that said, let’s go ahead and take a look at what I believe are the four keys to a Titans victory over the Browns.
