Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown revealed on Friday that he received a $7,000 fine for throwing a ball into the stands during the Week 12 win over the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday.
It occurred near the end of the game when Brown recovered a Colts onside kick that he took 42 yards to the house seal the deal on the Titans’ 45-26 win over their division rival.
For Brown, it was his second touchdown of the game after he had turned a short pass over the middle into a 69-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter. He finished with four receptions for 98 yards.
Here’s what Brown had to say about his fine:
The ball I threw in the stands last week just cost me 7k . So whoever got it , please pass it along to your kids and tell them to keep the cycle going 😂😭😭

While Brown was fined, Colts linebacker and special teamer Matthew Adams was not following his ejection for allegedly throwing punches at Titans linebacker and special teams ace, Nick Dzubnar, on a punt.
Adams took to Twitter to explain that he wasn’t throwing punches, but rather using a new swim move he was working on.
I’ve definitely been practicing that simple club swim football move, that got me ejected today. Just trying to do the simple things better than anyone else. Life isn’t fair, just keep your head up pic.twitter.com/dCTxg7VUNF
