The NBA released the first half of their schedule on Friday and the Los Angeles Lakers had their first 37 games of the 72-game schedule released on Friday, which includes all of their games through March 3, 2021. The Lakers will play on opening night to get their rings on Dec. 22 against the Clippers, followed by their Christmas Day showdown against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
The Lakers will also be a part of the NBA’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday when they take on Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers will, of course, also be included in 15 national television games, not including seven games that will air on NBA TV.
The Lakers will be back on the basketball court in about a week when they take on the Clippers in their first preseason game. However, LeBron James is not likely to appear in the preseason as he will be dealing with the shortest offseason of his 18-year NBA career.
