The signing day for the early period is less than two weeks away. One of the players that could indeed sign early is four-star running back out of Hallettsville, Jonathan Brooks.
Brooks is coming off a monster game in which he accounted for 501 yards and nine touchdown runs last time out. Currently, they are in a playoff game against Colombus in the Texas high school playoffs.

In the first quarter, Brooks took a pitch that he turned into a 76-yard touchdown run. During which he showed off his explosiveness and shiftiness in the open field to get into the end zone for the first score of the game to put Hallettsville up 7-0.
