Florida’s defense this season may be its worst in decades, but it hasn’t held the Gators back too much. Aside from in their lone loss to Texas A&M, in which they allowed over 500 yards of offense, poor defensive play hasn’t been particularly costly.
That could change in a few weeks when Florida will likely meet with Alabama for the SEC Championship. If UF is going to be competitive in that game, then it needs to improve significantly.
