Gravelly voice aside, he breaks down the game in a palatable way for the masses watching SNF but also gives nuggets to football nerds in the audience. Did he get the Zach Ertz touchdown decision wrong in the Super Bowl? Yeah. But wouldn’t you rather have an analyst who takes a side instead of the wishy-washy type who always plays both angles?
