Heading into his first season with both All-Star and All-NBA honors to his name, Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum met with the media on Tuesday to talk his team’s coming 2020-21 season.
The Duke product spoke at length about his new, $195 million rookie contract extension, how it might change his role with the team, what he sees as areas of his game needing work to keep advancing, and how he plans to deal with the attention he will draw as a superstar.
Tatum also discussed his new teammates, and those who have since moved on to new clubs and how the pandemic continues to change how we watch sports.
