The Tennessee Titans have seen inconsistency in the past, finishing out the last four seasons with an overall record of 9-7 — hardly anything screams “average” louder than that.
But this year’s Titans team is built differently, to put it simply, with a solid quarterback at the helm, weapons to throw to and the best running back in the NFL to power the ground game.
That hasn’t gone unnoticed — just ask NFL Network’s Nate Burleson, who named Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown and running back Derrick Henry the best duo in the NFL.
The honors don’t get much higher than that.

“I don’t think there’s anybody better right now,” he said. “What can’t Derrick Henry do?”
At 6-foot-3-inches and 247 pounds, Henry is easily one of the most difficult players in the NFL to tackle.
“Sometimes when you’re that big, that strong and that dominant, you can’t catch out of the backfield,” Burleson said. “But he can. You know he can punch you in the mouth.”
Henry has been affectionately dubbed “The King” by Titans fans, but Brown has a similar title as the “King of YAC,” and rightfully so.
So far this season, Henry has carried the ball 256 times for 1,257 yards with 12 touchdowns. Brown has reeled in 40 passes for 638 yards with eight scores this season.
Expect both players to continue to build off that momentum as the Titans face the Cleveland Browns at noon CT in Nissan Stadium on Sunday.
