Bill Belichick dodges questions about Matt Patricia potentially rejoining Patriots

Bill Belichick was quick to shut down any rumors of a Matt Patricia reunion.

Could a Matt Patricia-New England Patriots reunion be in the works? Bill Belichick is not giving any hints, if so.

Speaking on WEEI on Monday, Belichick indicated that his team was just preparing for the next game, and had no true answer as to whether he would bring Patricia in.

The latter was fired by the Detroit Lions on November 28, as the Lions looked to clean house. Detroit general manager Bob Quinn was also fired as the team is in the midst of a 4-7 season.

In two seasons with Detroit, Patricia compiled a 13-29-1 record. This time with New England was much more memorable, as he was able to win three Super Bowls as offensive assistant and defensive coordinator.

As the season draws to a close, one has to wonder if any moves will be made to the coaching staff as the team looks towards the future.
