Oklahoma loves five-star wide receivers.

The Sooners brought in three of them in the 2019 class in Jadon Haselwood, Trejan Bridges and Theo Wease. Oklahoma has one committed in 2021 wide receiver Mario Williams and the Sooners are in the mix for another.

One that will reportedly be visiting Oklahoma this weekend.

It was a bit of a surprise at the time whenever Emeka Egbuka included the Sooners in his final group of Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Washington. The Steilacoom, Washington, native had never visited the Sooners and it seemed Oklahoma hadn’t been after him all that hard.

Then things changed whenever it appeared Caleb Williams was heading to Norman, Oklahoma. The Sooners push was on.

And now? Egbuka will visit Oklahoma this weekend for the Baylor game according to reports from The Football Brainiacs and 247Sports.

Williams hinted at recruits visiting this weekend for the Baylor game in his weekly blog. Egbuka would certainly fit that billing as a major visitor.

He is considered a five-star recruit according to Rivals. Egbuka is considered the 11th best recruit in the 2021 recruiting class, the No. 1 overall wide receiver and No. 2 player out of the state of Washington.

The Sooners currently have 15 commitments in the 2021 recruiting class and the class is ranked 14th in the country on Rivals.
