Auburn took it on the chin this past Saturday in a 42-13 loss to rival Alabama. The Tigers look to rebound when they host No. 5/6 Texas A&M on Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
A win against the Aggies would likely improve the Tigers bowl projections but, as of right now, Gus Malzahn’s team is projected to play upstart Indiana from the Big Ten in the Vrbo Citrus Bowl in Orlando on January 1 by College Football News.
The Hoosiers’ only loss of the season came against No. 3 Ohio State in Columbus, a close 42-35 defeat to the Buckeyes. Tom Allen’s team will be without starting quarterback Michael Penix the rest of the year after he tore his ACL in the win over Maryland this past Saturday.
