Not only did the Tennessee Titans take over first place in the AFC South after beating the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, but the game itself also made a bit of history.
The Titans emerged victorious over the Colts, 45-26, and that final result is a score that is extremely rare. In fact, it’s only the second time in league history that it has happened.
According to Scorigami, the only other time we’ve seen a 45-26 score in NFL history occurred all he way back on December 12, 1959.
Interestingly enough, the Colts were involved in that game, except they were playing in Baltimore when they defeated the Los Angeles Rams.
TEN 45 – 26 IND
FinalNo Scorigami. That score has happened 1 time before, most recently on December 12, 1959.

At the time, we thought that score looked pretty rare, and sure enough we were right; although we had no idea it was that rare. The more you know.
Tennessee will look to notch its third straight victory when they host the Cleveland Browns at Nissan Stadium in Week 13.
