Both Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams reached rare career milestones during Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.
Rodgers reached 50,000 passing yards, while Davante Adams caught his 500th career pass.
Rodgers hit 50,000 yards on a 39-yard touchdown pass to Robert Tonyan.
Rodgers became the 11th player in NFL history with 50,000 passing yards. He is also the second-fastest player to 50,000 passing yards by passing attempts in NFL history, trailing only Ben Roethlisberger.
Adams hauled in catch No. 500 on a 12-yard touchdown on the Packers’ opening drive. He is the fifth player in Packers history to 500 catches, joining Donald Driver, Sterling Sharpe, Jordy Nelson and James Lofton. Adams needed only 95 games, the fewest of the five.
Rodgers and Adams connected on their 11th touchdown pass of the 2020 season in the first quarter.
