The 49ers scored a touchdown to go up 7-3 on the Rams, and then they quickly got the ball back thanks to Richard Sherman. Rams QB Jared Goff was looking deep down the right side and badly overshot his target. Sherman was waiting and the throw fell into his hands for an easy interception. His return put the 49ers in Rams territory at the 45.
If San Francisco swings an upset, it’ll be because of turnovers. The 49ers have two in the first quarter Sunday. Unfortunately for them, they also have two giveaways. Wilson immediately gave the ball back after Sherman’s pick.
