The New England Patriots released their final injury report of the week. Two players were ruled out, as expected, and another 13 were ruled as questionable.
Running back Rex Burkhead, who suffered a torn ACL, did not practice all week. He is expected to be put on injured reserve. Left tackle Isaiah Wynn, who exited last week’s game with a knee injury, was unable to practice all week and was also ruled out.
Defensive lineman Carl Davis (concussion) was downgraded on Friday, sitting out after getting limited work on Thursday. He is the only player who was downgraded. Four— special teams ace Matthew Slater (knee), safety Kyle Dugger (toe), defensive lineman Tashawn Bower (illness) and running back J.J. Taylor (quad) — were upgraded from non-participation on Thursday to limited on Friday.
Defensive lineman Adam Butler (shoulder), linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley (groin), defensive lineman Byron Cowart (back), kicker Nick Folk (back), cornerback Stephon Gilmore (hand), receiver N’Keal Harry (shoulder), tight end Ryan Izzo (hamstring, hand) and guard Shaq Mason (calf) are all questionable after being limited all week.
