The Los Angeles Rams canceled practice on Friday out of an abundance of caution due to COVID-19 testing, so their week of practice was much lighter than usual. Tyler Higbee and Terrell Lewis both missed practice on Thursday, which was the team’s only real session of the week after holding a walk-through Wednesday.
And so Friday’s injury report was only an estimation of players’ participation, with injury designations being handed out for two players. Higbee has an elbow injury and will be a game-time decision on Sunday, with the Rams listing him as questionable.
Lewis has knee swelling that popped up this week, which needed to be drained. It’s the same knee that has given him trouble in the past, so that’s certainly a concern.
Lewis is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game.
From an injury standpoint, Sean McVay said TE Tyler Higbee (elbow) is still questionable for Sunday's game vs. 49ers. OLB Terrell Lewis (knee), who popped up on Thursday's injury report with knee swelling, is doubtful.
