The Green Bay Packers remain optimistic that receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling will be able to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears despite an Achilles injury suffered during Thursday’s practice.
Coach Matt LaFleur said the Packers will list Valdes-Scantling as questionable on the final injury report, but he’s “hopeful” Valdes-Scantling will be able to go Sunday.
“We’ll see how he feels on Sunday,” LaFleur said Friday.
Valdes-Scantling was added to the injury report after Thursday’s practice.

I caught this today. Not sure if it happened on this rep, but MVS comes out of his release limping a little bit. pic.twitter.com/YAfjzccPRe

Over the last three games, Valdes-Scantling has nine catches for 257 yards and three touchdowns, although he did have the fumble that lost the game in overtime last week in Indianapolis.
Receivers Davante Adams (ankle) and Allen Lazard (core) should play against the Bears.
The final injury report will be released later on Friday.
