Colts rule out LB Bobby Okereke vs. Titans in Week 12

Bobby Okereke won’t play in Week 12.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich ruled out linebacker Bobby Okereke on Friday ahead of the Week 12 game against the Tennessee Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Reich ruled out Okereke while also stating that neither DeForest Buckner nor Denico Autry would be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list for the divisional matchup.

We already knew Buckner wouldn’t be able to play against the Titans after it was revealed he tested positive for COVID-19. If he’s asymptomatic, he could be eligible to return in Week 13 for the matchup against the Houston Texans.

We weren’t sure about Autry, who was placed on the COVID-19 list last week. He had a chance to play this week, but Reich revealed it won’t be happening.

Okereke has been on the injury report all week dealing with an ankle injury he apparently suffered against the Green Bay Packers in Week 11.

Reich also noted that center Ryan Kelly, who is dealing with a neck injury is listed as questionable after not practicing all week.

The Colts will release their final injury report of the week with designations later on Friday, which will give a better look as to just how dire this injury situation is.
