Week 12 Inactives: Anthony Brown out for Cowboys, Terry McLaurin in for Washington

A look at who is up and who isn’t.

The toughest matchup on the field got a bit tougher for the Dallas Cowboys. As expected, cornerback Anthony Brown (ribs) has been named one of the club’s inactive players ahead of Thursday’s matchup with the Washington Football Team. Also as expected, Washington wideout sensation Terry McLaurin (ankle) will play.

With the two 3-7 teams squaring off for first place in the moribund NFC East, the Cowboys could use the help but Brown couldn’t turn around in a short week after missing several snaps against Minnesota as Dallas snapped their four-game losing streak.

To prepare for Brown’s absence, Dallas elevated CBs Deante Burton and Rashard Robinson from the practice squad.

Healthy scratches for the game once again include rookies Reggie Robinson, Bradlee Anae and Ron’Dell Carter.   Fans should likely note that Robinson is listed as an inactive at Free Safety. Apparently no matter how much they will, the coaches will not return him to cornerback to help out with the rash of injuries.

Jourdan Lewis and Chidobe Awuzie will start, Rashard Robinson will be the third corner and Deante Burton the fourth. Dallas will likely rely on a three-safety rotation yet again with Xavier Woods and Donovan Wilson starting, and Darian Thompson getting snaps as well.
