Brian Burns has been named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance on Sunday.
Burns made five tackles (one for a loss), had two sacks and broke up one pass in the Panthers’ 20-0 win over Detroit.
This is the first time Burns has won the award, and is the first Panthers DE to win it since Efe Obada in 2018
