Bedlam has certainly taken a turn from Saturday night to Monday.
Oklahoma dominated Oklahoma State in the 2020 version of Bedlam in a 41-13 win that got the Sooners right back in the thick of the Big 12 Championship race. However, some of the things that took place during the game have put a bit of a cloud over the game.
During the second-quarter, a fan interaction with an Oklahoma State equipment manager turned into an alleged assault. The equipment manager was retrieving a football from a field goal in the stands when the incident occurred.
On top of that, Oklahoma State star defensive end Trace Ford alleges something else happened. In a deleted tweet, Ford says an ‘Oklahoma player literally spit on one of my teammates’. He then sarcastically called the University of Oklahoma, ‘… what a extraordinary university!’.
Here is a picture of what was said in the deleted tweet, which was quote tweeting the video of the alleged assault in the stands:
It has not been confirmed whether this happened or not and this is the first time this has been mentioned from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State or its players since the game ended on Saturday night.
