The Cleveland Browns are placing star defensive end Myles Garrett on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Garrett will miss at least this Sunday’s game with the Philadelphia Eagles as a result.
Garrett had missed the last two days of practice with an undisclosed illness. He was due back to the team facility on Friday.
The Browns subsequently released a statement indicating that another player has tested positive for COVID-19, as well as another statement affirming they are indeed placing Garrett on the reserve list. The statement indicated that the player has not been in the team facility all week, which would appear to indicate Garrett without directly saying so.
Stay tuned for further developments.
