Sixers regular season schedule matrix announced for 2020-21 season

The regular-season schedule matrix has been released for the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2020-21 season.

The 2020-21 NBA season is getting set to begin as opening night is now just over a month away. Due to the 2019-20 season ending so late due to the pandemic, the upcoming season is starting late and the league will make it a 72-game schedule.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, it gives them an opportunity to start anew and put the struggles of the previous season behind them. It also gives them an opportunity to see what star duo Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid can do under new the direction of new coach Doc Rivers.

On Tuesday, the NBA announced the format for the season and how the schedule will work. While the official schedule has not been announced yet, the Sixers have an idea of who they will play at home and who they will play on the road.

Of course, due to Canada’s restrictions, the Sixers would not be facing the Toronto Raptors at the Scotiabank Arena. Philadelphia will also welcome Jimmy Butler to the City of Brotherly Love only once this season. [lawrence-related id=39191,39188,39185]
