The Chicago Bears received a bit of good news on quarterback Nick Foles’ hip injury Tuesday, according to coach Matt Nagy.

Nagy said Foles is ‘day to day’ despite the dreaded cart ride at the end of Monday night’s game against the Vikings.

Foles, who suffered the injury in the waning moments of the Bears’ Week 10 loss to the Minnesota, was carted off the field after what appeared to be a serious and potentially season-ending moment.

Foles’ backup, Mitch Trubisky, is nursing an injury of his own. Trubisky banged up his shoulder in Week 8’s loss to the Saints and should be ready to go after Chicago’s Week 11 bye.

Foles likely will be too.

The Bears travel to Green Bay in Week 12 in what was once looking like a meaningful rivalry game in the NFC North. Now, with Chicago losing four-straight games, their 2020 season is on the line.
