The Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears are battling in a NFC North game on Monday night and while it might not be the sexiest matchup ever, it started off with a pretty cool touchdown catch by Adam Thielen.
The Vikings wide receiver, who paid a sweet tribute to Alex Trebek before the game, opened the scoring at Soldier Field with a sweet one-handed catch on a 17-yard pass from QB Kirk Cousins.
We’ve all seen a number of one-handed touchdown grabs, especially lately, but the trickery that Thielen pulled off on this one was pretty darn impressive.
Watch as he was able to flip the ball around so he could secure it while going to the ground:
Incredible. Adam Thielen intentionally flipped the ball around with one hand while falling down so that he could get a better grip. pic.twitter.com/A6ZG3DBEAE

I mean, that is wild.
Twitter thought so, too:
How smooth is the ball flip that Adam Thielen made during this one handed touchdown? pic.twitter.com/m4PyzaZNhM

Did Adam Thielen really flip the ball with one hand to secure the touchdown? 😱 pic.twitter.com/3Q0MXZISAf

perfect throw by Cousins and incredible catch by Thielen.
but the coolest part about this is the subtle ball flip he does with his left hand to control it as he’s going down pic.twitter.com/XFZ45bkaJz

Not only a great one-handed catch by Adam Thielen, but check out the ball flip and re-grip right before he hit the ground. Awesome!#MNF #MondayNightFootball #MINvsCHI pic.twitter.com/XTvKwlIbUi
